MMSM Bag Up Manitoba -- Plastic Bag Roundup Challenge, a program of Take Pride Winnipeg! Inc.
Since the fall of 2008, elementary schools in Manitoba have collected over FOUR MILLION plastic bags for recycling into free Frisbees, bird houses, and benches for their schools. This year, the participation prize is a garden box, made from recycled plastic, from TREX!Inspire your students to do more to reduce their waste and consider reusing, recycling and remanufacturing options! This challenge is open to elementary schools across Manitoba.
The goal of this challenge is to inspire students to do more to reduce their waste and consider reusing, recycling and remanufacturing options. Students are asked to collect as many plastic shopping bags as possible and bring them to their school for recycling.

retail bags
newspaper sleeves
produce bags
bread bags
ice bags
bubble wrap
case over wrap
pellet bags
salt bags
dry cleaning bags
re-sealable food bags
cereal bags
