Roots of Empathy

The students in Room 18 always enjoy the family visit of the Roots of Empathy program. The program aims to help students learn about empathy and emotions through the loving connection between parent and child. We are so proud of River and how he is growing and learning! The students explored the topic of sleep and how some babies can use a transition object, such as a soother or sleep sack, to help them sleep. The smiles are wide in Room 18 when we greet River with a welcome song and each child gets to say a special "hello" to our baby!  Thanks to Mrs. and Mr. Janzen for bringing River to Linwood for our family visit each month.
