Celebration of Learning Time!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

On Thursday, March 17^th from 4:30-7:30 PM we will be having our triad conferences with an Open House format. Teachers will be available to visit with students and families during this celebratory time. Please plan to spend approximately 15 minutes per classroom.  The open house will end at 7:30.

 

The purpose of these conferences, led by the student, is to share what is happening in the classroom and to give students the opportunity to demonstrate, reflect on, and celebrate their own individual growth. Students will be prepared to showcase their learning from term two.

 

Mrs. Rogala will be available in the gym office to discuss skills worked on this term in physical education and Ms. Versteeg invites students and parents to visit the music room. 

 

As the focus is on celebrating learning, and due to the fact that there will be multiple families together in the classroom, this is not the ideal time to discuss any concerns you may have about your child.

 

Parents who may have concerns and would like to arrange to speak privately with their child’s classroom teacher are encouraged to contact him/her directly at any time during the school year to arrange a meeting time.  Teachers will also be taking appointments on Friday, March 18^th during the morning from 9:30-11:00.  Appointments for this date can be booked using the “Linwood Conference Manager” online at http://linwood.sjsd.net/.  The system will open for bookings on Thursday, March 10^th at 8:30 AM.
