Our Parent Council has been working hard on our school playground for the last number of years. The newest addition to the playground will be a "Buddy Bench". A Buddy Bench is designed to act as a tool for children who are looking for playmates. A child sitting on the bench is a signal to others that they are looking for an invitation to join in on play. Big thanks to all of the parents who contributed to making this happen!
We will be hosting a celebration for our new Buddy Bench on Monday, January 18th at 9:45 AM in the auditorium. Weather permitting, the celebration will include a "ribbon cutting" outdoors at the site of the bench.
Parents and guests are welcome to join us!
